WIRELESS FLAT SWITCHES: WHEREVER YOU NEED THEM

Simplified installation and significant cost saving.

Lainate, October 2016 - Carlo Gavazzi Automation, the international electronics group with activities in the design, manufacture and marketing of electronic equipment, today launches its new series of wireless flat switches.

A wireless solution, with long operating distances, for those applications where cabling and drilling are not possible or too expensive, combining simplicity of installation and commissioning with the same outstanding features of the cabled modules of the Sx2WEB platform.

Thanks to the integrated sensor, temperature control is also available, in effect providing two products in one, an extremely cost-effective solution for residential and commercial buildings.

“With this new series, we can now provide customers with several features, such as extended transmission distance, de-centralised installation and two products in one, switch and temperature sensor, making this system more attractive to system integrators and also providing significant savings in installation costs,” Raffaella Sirena, International Product Manager, states. “With the ongoing positive growth in the Building Automation market in many countries, we expect our sales in this market to be further boosted by these new, easily installed flat switches.”

Developed by our competence centre in Italy, these switches have been specifically designed for the Home and Building Automation markets.

PD140: THE NEW PHOTOELECTRIC SENSOR SET FOR DOORS AND GATES

Easy alignment procedure and reliable detection even in harsh conditions.

Lainate, October 2016 - Carlo Gavazzi Automation, the international electronics group with activities in the design, manufacture and marketing of electronic equipment, today presents its new series of photoelectric sensors PD140.

The PD140 sensors allow the detection of vehicles and persons, so preventing the door or gate to move.
At a maximum distance of up to 60 metres between the sensors, the optical alignment can now be easier and quicker by means of the APD140-LA01 green laser alignment tool, resulting in significant time saving.

“While designing these sensors we have focused on reliable detection especially in harsh outdoor conditions, where fog, rain, snow and dust might interfere,” Torben Rochat, International Product Manager, says. “The aim of this launch is to further strengthen our position in the Doors market by providing reliable and innovative photoelectric sensors which are compliant with the European regulations EN12453, EB12445, EN12978 as well as North American regulations UL325 and UL508.”

Developed by our competence centre in Denmark, these photoelectric sensors are designed for industrial doors and gates applications.
